Katzmann and Davis were a dream team duo on Labor of Love. Davis was not only the host, but she was also an executive producer, so she was able to tailor the show to Katzmann in the best way possible. “When I first heard the premise of Labor of Love, I knew I had to be a part of this show,” the Sex and the City actress told Deadline. “I believe every woman should feel empowered to go after their dreams, whether it be professional or personal, and to be at Kristy’s side as she took her future into her own hands was truly exciting.” It’s worth noting Davis, who is 55, adopted two children, one in 2011, and one in 2018 as a single woman (via Women’s Health).
Katzmann was also very excited to work with the mom of two. “I was totally starstruck. I felt like this was such a dream. She’s super relatable and she’s also a really strong female role model. She definitely was my confidant throughout this entire process,” she said.
