El Moussa also revealed to ET that both Taylor and Brayden will be in the wedding, although their mom will not be in attendance. It turns out Anstead wasn’t initially consulted before her ex proposed to Young in July (via Today). Young explained to ET about that decision, saying, “I’m helping raise the kids, so I think she knew like how important my role was, but no. It’s different. We have our own life and we respect her as their mom and we co-parent but we’re a couple. We don’t need to sit down with her and discuss that.”
Nonetheless, Anstead told E! News about finding out about the engagement, “Of course! And I couldn’t be happier for them. They’re very happy.” No word on how she feels about being excluded from the wedding guest list. But it’s worth noting that El Moussa wasn’t invited to his ex-wife’s wedding to Ant Anstead (via People). In fact, he found out about the surprise ceremony when photos emerged online. “When I first got them, I just sat there for a few minutes and thought about things, and it was kind of like a release. It was kind of like, I was really okay with it. I was happy with it,” he said at the time, adding that he texted his congratulations to his ex that very night.
