Russian-born, South Carolina-based designer, Alena Fursova, says that the city of Charleston is her inspiration and that her designs are “defined by the streets, the color, the vibe of the people who live here,” and that she is “inspired by the mash-up of cultures.”

Filipino designer Michael Cinco is based in Dubai, which he calls “a haven of haute couture.” Inspired by classic Hollywood icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, Cinco is making waves in the fashion industry. He has dressed some of today’s hottest celebs; his clients include Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez.
