On June 1, 2020, before she was named as Biden’s running mate, Harris tweeted a link to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, an organization that was helping bail out people arrested for protesting George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minnesota police officers (via Newsweek). According to The Minnesota Freedom Fund’s website, their mission is “to pay criminal bail and immigration bonds for those who cannot afford to, as we seek to end discriminatory, intimidating, and oppressive money bail.” In July, the organization paid bail for a man who went on to be charged with third-degree assault a month later (via The Independent). However, his initial arrest was never linked to the Black Lives Matter protests or Vice President Harris.

Now, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina — one of Trump’s most loyal supporters in Congress — has threatened to file impeachment articles against Vice President Kamala Harris if Republicans take back the House in 2022, as reported by The Independent.
