Page Six reported the couple wed under a crystal-embellished chuppa during the ceremony, and Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, officiated. Kushner joked with Lara during the ceremony, “You are not just gaining a family, you are getting 6 million Twitter followers.” Celebrity attendees included Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin and radio personality Elvis Duran (via Town & Country). However, not everything was smooth sailing.

Lara broke both her arms just two weeks before the ceremony and was forced to wear casts on her wedding day. Luckily, she thought of a solution to help incorporate them on her big day. She wore fingerless gloves during the nuptials to hide them. “I had to get creative with a way to make casts look bridal,” Lara told People. “Fortunately, my wedding planner and my designer came up with some fabulously bedazzled gloves to try and blend these casts.” Guests were treated to a reception full of gold accents, which was planned by Jennifer Zabinski Events and floral creations designed by Preston Bailey. The grand event ended with those in attendance enjoying a stunning five-tier cake and dancing through the night.

When they were both ready to walk down the aisle, they invited the entire Trump family (via Town & Country). Donald Trump Jr. was best man, Ivanka Trump was a bridesmaid, and her daughter was even a flower girl. Lara wore not one, but two gowns, and accessorized them with jewelry from Ivanka’s line. One of her dresses was created by Vera Wang and the other dress was an Inbal Dror by Mark Ingram Atelier, according to People. “It was the first dress that I tried on and actually felt like a bride,” she told People. “I knew that I needed a dress that would be seen from even the farthest guest’s viewpoint!”
